It is shocking how fast and completely the season changed upon the first rain to end summer

I mean the leaves aren’t falling yet but I had to close windows and start using the heater again and the air has more moisture in it and the clouds in the sky make it effectively an hour darker and change the quality of light even when it’s not totally grayed out
