But, actually, we can discern something important from this strip: Tats isn’t picking up alt-right talking points secondhand from interacting with radfems/TERFs/transphobic groups and 4chan lingo filtering through to him. He’s hanging out in the kind of groups where people have reason to be paranoid that their co-posters are FBI agents. And even if Tats isn’t personally aware of the racist origins of the term, it speaks volumes as to the company he’s been keeping
