Using an unscheduled election to short the reigning faction for the sake of throwing a free-for-all faction fight is not something I&rsquo;m sure the party would survive intact.</p><p>I have a college buddy who did state politics for Google, he explains that cabinet positions are an alternate prize \u2013 that&rsquo;s what Hilda Solis at Labor under Obama was, a payoff to Gil Cedillo&rsquo;s Latino Caucus machine \u2013 but the 2016 plan was for several figures to graduate to Hillary&rsquo;s cabinet.
