This tree I’ve been regrowing from a stump has sent off some side branches at a worrying upwards angle, but in the second year it starts bearing crabapply fruit that weighs them down and the wood tends to firm up at this point leaving them spread closer to horizontal and im like ::taps temple:: I see what you did there
