god I went to see Song of the South the last time they released it from the vault and I was too young to remember much beyond that I liked it and the theme song was catchy but I feel bad now that I didn't commit it to memory before it was hidden in the Racism Pit forever

I had an illustrated book as a young child that I think was published by Disney and in any case had a similar art style to other Disney films, that told the story of brer rabbit and probably some other uncle remus stories.
Never seen Song of the South tho’.I mean at this distance I only remember The Tar Baby, “no, don’t throw me in the briar patch”, etc.
