Yeah I guess south-to-north on the east coast and north-to-south on the west coast vibes a little counterclockwise, when I’m thinking “the ocean currents off its coasts are clockwise” I mean south-to-north on the western edge of the Atlantic (and north-to-south on the other side – this is why the Europe-Africa-America guns-slaves-rum “triangular trade”) is clockwise, and north-to-south on the eastern edge of the Pacific is clockwise.
