As someone who first bought boosters of The Dark (but not with a credit card leaving a trail!), I have to say off their Facebook ads Magic is doing a bang-up job of convincing everyone who was ever Magic-adjacent that now is the time to finally get into it while communicating basically nothing about the current state of the game
I’ve been tuned out of the metagame since Covid hit, but I still keep track of the new cards and the designs have gotten Fucking Weird, like look at what got announced today!
