Getting away from the “everything is white” school of interior design minimalism doesn’t necessarily mean you need to do anything complicated or garish. For example, you can outfit your living space in a rainbow of tasteful pastels and piss off absolutely everyone.

In my experience, the one thing that both the pro-minimalism and anti-minimalism factions of the Interior Design Wars can agree on is that everybody hates varied pastels. Like, one pastel shade is okay, but two or more in the same room? That’s illegal, apparently!
