Ever since first spring when I was like &ldquo;oh shit, this needs work&rdquo; I was repeatedly like just <b>one</b> more season but that&rsquo;s done, it&rsquo;s all grass now and like a bit of white clover, I can leave all of my yards a whole month and come back and pull like, two things.</p><p>The trees coming in <b>great</b>, even the stuff I did first year which was counterproductive has grown back over</p><p>One kinda tree/bush I tried to trim to tree form and that was a mistake that I&rsquo;ll have to chop, one stand of thin bamboo that is taking up an empty corner I need to clear, three tall matchstick pines I&rsquo;ll need a service to clear out, one tree I don&rsquo;t know what its form even is when it&rsquo;s not leaned over by that one that fell down.</p><p>Then redo the stonework and fence, start a plum, Japanese maple and sakura in the back for that hanami vibe, get doors from the bedrooms, a deck, a hot tub\u2026 all along I&rsquo;ve known the backyard was gonna be the best room in the house.</p>"}
