Think the next long-term project I should get started is learning grafting and building up a tree of many fruits down in the greenway so people can walk by and grab them. At the stage of deciding between

• Apple - can only graft other apples but of any variety. Some kids walk that way to a K-8 school and it would be hilarious for them to bring their teachers an apple.
• Citrus - lot of fan favorites here but might be better for a backyard supply – how often are you on the go and wanting a grapefruit or lime?
• Drupes (“stonefruit”) - lot of variety here, in fruit, flowers, and timeline, but honestly a lot of stuff I’ve never been a big snacker of and/or require particular processing into ideal form, which one branch probably won’t produce enough of a batch to justify

Also a question is where the fuck would I be getting things to graft on
