idk if it is real or if I am just seeing things from your influence or my shifting tastes, but it feels like in the last year or two, internet personalities have shifted from saying "we won't do X because it is problematic and immoral" to "we won't do X because we would get cancelled (though X is likely fine, just dangerous for us to do)". This seems like a sign of the end of woke culture since people no longer believe in it, only care about their reputations.
Oh yeah. It’s thrilling to watch right now because it turns even the worst fucks sniffily disdaining it as beneath their attention when all that is right and proper is desecrated into petulant fools stomping around the tracks while a freight train bears down, but keep in mind that now that’s resolved the issue is gonna be overshooting the other way and fouling what was actually valuable in that last swing.
