How gay must that have been?

A related thought: how many young men moved into the dorms unknowingly and were just like “huh, so that’s what it’s like for adults in the big city, lots of gay hookups”

It’s mostly about me thinking through male-male sexuality and realizing how easy it must’ve been in this bathhouse-era Golden Age and how that makes it more tragic that AIDS spoiled it by adding death into the equation, but taking time for chuckling asides like this
