Yeah that’s about the original Japanese market though, I was thinking more of how it became an American thing in the mid-90s, the story I’m looking for would be more about the high-Studio DVD-era gonzo stuff when they had Howard Stern as a promotional channel and how that didn’t transition cleanly to the pro-am fetish stuff
