Related to hrm, I have recently caught myself thinking “straight” as derogatory regarding stiffness and artificiality (much like “white”!)
I think there is something there though in not perceiving major parts of your human performance
It’s like how newly deaf people’s voices sound weird because they don’t have feedback to calibrate them (and haven’t been trained otherwise)
This is part of why I now headcanon Taylor Swift as bi (You’re like “but she has so many songs about straight relationships!” Go back and listen again, like half of them are about a girl being desired.)
