I just downloaded a chatbot that generates pre-made responses, and it\u2019s surprisingly natural and readable

I was worried it would be some kind of uncanny valley avatar bot, but no, it sounds like a human person trying to type out some boilerplate human-like responses, and the bot is \u2026 really good

It\u2019s not perfect, but \u201cwhat if this person typed this out but didn\u2019t quite get it right\u201d isn\u2019t usually a scary thing in text communications, IMO

It\u2019s like if a chat bot was also able to read the mood of its interlocutor, in real time
