today I learned that mosquito bites don’t itch because mosquitoes inject an itchy chemical or something; they only inject an anticoagulant that prevents the blood from clotting. The body then reacts to the unknown foreign substance by producing histamine, which helps white blood cells get to the area faster, anyway, the point is that scientifically, there is no reason a vampire bite shouldn’t itch like crazy, seeing as they’d also need the blood to not-clot and our bodies would probably react the same way. add that to all your fics kids
