* I suddenly realize why the rare coins/gold store in my town got into baseball cards, because they boomed off the stagflation or even Bretton Woods/commercial banking in the regulated 3-6-3 era (“3% interest on deposits, 6% on loans, out on the golf course by 3”) eras as an alternate, and that’s where that energy got diverted.
