The results of the U.S. Presidential election are likely to take longer to determine than usual, given the sharp rise in mail-in voting this year and logistical challenges at physical polling places caused by the coronavirus pandemic. Uncertainty in determining the winner could conceivably last for weeks after the Nov. 3 election day.
