I’ve been specifically trained in how to land and take off with tricycle landing gear from a “courduroy”-graded grass airfield (where drainage furrows are plowed perpendicular to the strip, you burn off more speed before setting down on landing and get the wheels off the ground sooner and build velocity off ground effect on takeoff)

And I suddenly realize I would have no clue how to do it with standard (“taildragger”) gear
