80 straight days of rioting in your city even though the Feds have been gone for weeks. The Oregon state police also left when the DA proudly announced that none of the rioters were going to be prosecuted. These aren't "protesters," they're a state-supported militia. When are you going to pull your head out of the sand and realize this is not normal and is in fact bad?

Do you live in Portland? Because if not the media has been lying to you about the scale and danger of protests here for years.
The federal intervention made things less controlled and less safe, is the bottom line.
Have there indeed been 80 straight days of rioting? Protesting, yes, but I’m not willing to take anon’s word that there has been constant rioting as well as constant protests. I’m not in Portland, so sincere question – what has been the level of violence since the Feds pulled out?
After the Oregon State Police took over, the downtown protests have become reasonably peaceful self-policed demonstrations while the conflict-seekers nightly roam east of the river menacing North Precinct, East Precinct, the Sheriffs and the cop union HQ though from the sound of it even they’re wearing down
Now the OSP is pulling out cause the new “progressive DA” won’t even charge their arrests (means the only way to attrit besiegers now is thump them hard enough, don’t know if he realizes he’s making that decision but he did)
