I\u2019m not sure I\u2019ve heard the term \u201cfurry\u201d anywhere but I think they\u2019re a subculture. I don\u2019t know much about them except that they tend to like anthropomorphic animals and/or monsters.

I am very uncomfortable with the term \u201cfurry\u201d because it\u2019s so often used pejoratively to describe furry culture, and I have a feeling that a lot of people who see the term \u201cfurry\u201d used this way also see the term used pejoratively towards furry culture. (And I\u2019m also fairly uncomfortable with the term \u201canimal fetishist,\u201d which I\u2019m fairly sure is used like this too.)

I wonder if what I should do is focus on the word \u201cfurry\u201d as a semantically separate term from the concept of \u201canthro-fandom\u201d
