Knew a guy in high school, he was stage manager for the tyrannical theater director (I was stage crew) and in the Civil Air Patrol and as much of a tightass as you’d think and then one night he came out to his Catholic parents and they didn’t take it well so he hung himself to death and the next Gay-Straight Alliance meeting was kinda about it
And he was kinda exactly who the “it gets better” stuff was for but honestly coulda used a side of “for once in your life don’t be a goddamn drama queen”
