HOLY SHIT, I always just accepted it as a memesong and since the meme is about the first couple of lines I never actually listened to it, but now I've just actually listened to Sk8er Boi and now I realize that it's *not* a wholesome love story song, it's a song about Avril Lavigne being whatever the female equivalent of a bull is in the girl's tragic one-that-got-away cuckquean story. She isn't shipping them... she's dunking on her for missing her chance with him... how did I miss this
