You've had some good things to say about the Yakuza series and now Yakuza Zero is 75% off on Steam sale. Is that an OK place to start or is it a prequel type game that doesn't make sense without having played earlier-published games?
Some of it’s foreshadowing, like what is happening to these characters is rendered more meaningful by what you’re assumed to know will happen to them or what they will become, but it’s a perfectly viable introduction and more polished as a mechanical and narrative game experience than the stuff that came before, even Kiwami 1
