Mad Max-style collapse of society, maybe? The entire world as a proving ground for physical expertise and the resources you can acquire through it, with no power so entrenched that it can’t be contested by a sufficiently determined and charismatic person?
Yeah, I think post-apocalyptic wasteland is the way to go for the jock quadrant. Even the less conflict-oriented among the skills that tend to get emphasized are still very physical and clearly jock-coded; stuff like farming, hunting, and carpentry.
Also, the phrase “zombie apocalypse = health goth rapture” came into my mind when thinking all this over, which led my third eye to grow a tongue from out of nowhere and begin waggling it lewdly.
