Downside of apparently casting established actors in the Yakuza series: I think they’re starting to reuse some\ufffc\ufffc\ufffc, so I’m straining to figure if similar voices and character models represent the same character, the same actor, or just tropaic underworld types
Upside: Kiryu’s meeting a new minor character and there’s a beat of buildup as he knocks on the door then it’s like “holy shit\u2026 BEAT TAKESHI?”
(Also not even knowing the professional wrestlers they cast as the tower defense gang leaders, the bit in Kiwami 2 where they all rag on each others’ distinct styles of incomprehensible mumbling is hilarious)
