I grew up in the age of music videos - like “the dramatic fantasy you have along to the epic popular song” was the actual avant-garde form of art for a decade and it seeped into everything and it was great.

And if “singing along to the song in the mirror” turns out to be this generation’s equivalent? Could be worse!
