The Microwriter (1983) is a handheld portable word-processor with a chording keyboard.  It was followed up by the Quinkey (1984)—an add-on for the BBC Micro computer.  Unfortunately, neither was successful and the concept of a chording keyboard was too alien for an early 1980s computer user.  (More details at the Buxton Collection)
