at this point I’m quite interested to see how the stricter quarantines play out - afaict such large quarantines haven’t been attempted in the modern era with modern instrumentation and data, so there’s a lot to be seen about effectiveness.
in some ways, it’s good that we are able to test all of these capacities with a virus that is (hopefully going to turn out to be) not that lethal.
surely this is the biggest quarantine in human history, made all the more striking because it’s shutting down the biggest movement of people in human history
