This would be my second Garbage show, I saw the Version 2.0 tour in Philadelphia with Girls Against Boys as an opener where Shirley had just got some sort of breast/lymph biopsy done and was wearing a sling and had amazingly dominating stage presence energy in spite of it

Now that I think of it, three acts that did more than anything to sell me that ‘90s-ass “see the girls are fucked up and intense and think this is bullshit but hold out hope that somehow it could work too, let’s just admit it and it’ll all work out”
