Which makes me think – there are totally criminal-subculture-specific conspiracy theories, aren’t there? Like, there would have to be, in a world where people actually conspire to disclaimably kill each other on the reg, just like elaborate, detailed lore about like, “what happened to Wobbly Sal in 1978” that passes from mouth to mouth, evolving on the way, accepted as canon, that bears no relationship to the events in question, right?
