no it was Rude Dog and the Dweebs, which was based off the mascot for Sun Sportswear, which was one of the 80s neon-pastel beachwear brands that helped make the t-shirt as everyday attire
(like Ocean Pacific, or Body Glove, or that other one with the sharkman logo. They partook of the Miami Vice palettes but they were really Pacific, surfing-adjacent brands; stuff like Coed Naked or Big Johnson were later 90s Atlantic/Gulf Coast brands more aligned with spring break/summer house partying)
