So I just came across this on the Japanese government’s official Japanese fluency test, reminder I got N3 on the old 4-level system, which would make me N3 or 4 on the current 5-level

And it’s like “being N1 or N2 gets you points towards being granted residence as a skilled professional!”

“But to even try to be licensed as a health care professional you have to be N1”, basically total fluency
