It is certainly positive that so much of Sarajevo has been reconstructed and redeveloped—rather that then these huge landmarks remained vacant hulks for ruin porn voyeurs—but the juxtaposition of the raw, pockmarked brutalism of the old Oslobodenje printing house and the gleaming alubond-and-mirrors glass cylinder of the rather cheesy Radon Plaza Hotel which repurposed the skeleton of the old office block atop it, is quite a jarring contrast.
