I can talk about how between gun trusts, the falling real value of tax stamps, lawyering around with grips and stocks, and agency cultures that have totally turned over since the ‘94 “Republican Revolution”, any imagined “bans” on silencers or short-barreled guns have totally fallen apart in the last few years, and the only pushback on this – 41F preserving a local veto for chiefs and sheriffs in “blue” territories – just serves to keep city people from noticing.
