Oh speaking of gun ownership I decided to go with the Mossberg 500 with the defense/field barrel combo and the “Flex” thing for swapping stocks

Everyone says there’s no point to even trying to use the “Cruiser” pistol grip, but I’ll see how walking around corners with the full stock works. Like 85% of a home defense shotgun is intimidation anyway, just needs to make the chk-chk sound

At some level I acknowledge that choosing it over the Remington 870 is arbitrary and influenced by my media-mediated sense of what a badass shotgun “should” look like, but I comfort myself that if I was really in it for the meme I would have gotten a SPAS

I remind myself that the point is spartan functionality and I shouldn’t tacticool it up, but I would like to at least mount a flashlight
