Dunsmuir is nice, lots of well-maintained or -renovated original architecture on a nice main street with whitehair hippie proprietors, but it seems like only half of anything was open and no one on the street, only obv. tourist presence was attendees from a hackers’ conference. If this isn’t “the season” I don’t know when would be.
