Seriously, I cannot emphasize enough what a surreal ‘90s throwback this all was. There was a flyer!

There was an infoline that released the location 2 hours before doors! (There wasn’t a map point.)

There were girls in pigtails or mini-buns and those Delia’s-ass strappy tops showing off how their ≤ B cups bounced!

There were people with party horns! There were people with oversized white Mickey gloves! That one’s such a deep cut I forgot! There were guys with golf visors with those plastic shapes clamped on the rim!

At one point I was like “well, no one’s putting on a 'liquid’ hand-dancing display for rolling people” and then people started putting on gloves with colored LEDs in them and did just that!

That’s the one real difference, it’s all LEDs now, I saw 1 (one) glowstick and it was illuminating a dark landing on an unlit staircase
