I moved to LA for a while, picked that up, moved away, lost it

The weirdest things to me were my Pennsylvania friends and relatives who treat the northbound and southbound lanes as different routes, like you’ll say “Take 202 South to the Montgomery Mall” and they’d nod but you say “Take 202 to the Montgomery Mall” and they’d be like “which 202?”

Maybe it has something to do with how we signed our highways
