went for a walk and looked at front yard gardens today

part of it was just aggravating my “now that I know how to trim trees, I notice all times people trim trees wrong”

only the next meta-level, like noticing all the wrong plantings, like “oh, you planted the colorful, tall, sun-thirsty forest tree UNDER the broad-canopy hill tree, huh”

but though the abortions are more fun to kvetch about I really got inspired by a lot of well-done stuff that lifted my spirits
