Or like, they invest heavily (both like, emotionally and in terms of efforts) in the priesthood AS divine office and church AS divine institution, and that\u2019s sufficient for them? Like, by being the only people entering the priesthood they will become the priests, and the priests will BE the church, and the church will decide what it means to be Catholic, and since Latinos are Catholic then they will be what the trads decide.</p><p>That seems to be the long and short of it. Honestly they should engage with the fact that in the pre-VII era before there was A Latin Mass Parish and A Guitar Mass Parish, there was instead An Italian Parish and A Polish Parish, but as far as they\u2019re concerned the Church is Universal and that\u2019s that, and a priest\u2019s job is to perform divine rituals and impose that universality and that\u2019s that.<br/></p>"}
