i hate to break it to you but urban farming has been pretty common for the vast majority of urbanized history (and Cuba is super into it rn) and it\u2019s not that far of a leap from there to some kind of participatory communal system where the answer is \u201cgo down to your neighbourhoods allotment\u201d

I mean, if you\u2019re just looking to grow whatever naturally grows in the area at an unenhanced yield level you can still take a wheelbarrow and pick \u201ccommons dirt\u201d up off the ground for free
