I grew up not too far away. A few times I ran across people who thought King of Prussia was named after the King of Prussia Mall, by some metrics now the largest in America.

This is incorrect, the town is named after a 18th-century tavern. You’re thinking of Cherry Hill, New Jersey, 30 miles away, named after the Cherry Hill Mall.
