IIRC – and this is decade-old memory about something I heard secondhand after the fact –he took their passports and had them work like 12hrs for $5/day or something, and I’m not sure they knew any local languages
It was good, part of it was just conveniently in the middle of Collegetown, but also they’d have like 20 varieties of pie at any given time to get a slice of – the cheeseburger and barbecue chicken slices were meals in themselves.
