I\u2026 actually that\u2019s a good question, I hear everyone describing YouTube as a \u201cradicalization engine\u201d, where once it keys off something it\u2019ll start showing you things with the same vector direction but larger magnitude away from the mainstream, left-skepticism leading to hard rightism, jogging leading to ultramarathons etc.
But that\u2026 doesn\u2019t happen with music, on YouTube or other algorithm-driven stuff like Spotify, like if you call up Meredith Brooks and Paula Cole it\u2019ll go full Lilith Fair, maybe Ani DiFranco at the most, but it won\u2019t feed you Riot Grrl or even MichFest stuff
