I thought that the point of a country club was that it was a club, that not just any random person could wander in, but only members, who, at minimum, paid a pile of money to join, and historically were also not Jewish or Black. I mean, there\u2019s a country club aesthetic, but the aesthetic is in service to a particular ideology.
