I like this sentiment, but no matter how ripped you are you\u2019ll still never get as far as you would have without the weight or as far as your peers who don\u2019t have it.

The \u201cyou\u2019ll still never\u201d sort of sentiment implies that like 90% of humanity is worthless, recursively, until like only one person counts, so while it might feel very real and pressing, it\u2019s actually somewhat nonsensical.\n\n

Better to cultivate a bit of detachment to that feeling of internalized hierarchy.\u00a0\u00a0

If possible, focus on becoming rather than might-have-becoming.\u00a0 You don\u2019t have to succeed in the same fields and in the same ways as everyone else.\u00a0 (Honestly that\u2019s part of why I\u2019m here blogging.)

Also @wirehead-wannabe I have no idea if you consider me\u00a0\u201csuccessful\u201d or\u00a0\u201clook-up-to-able\u201d or whatever at all, but definitely I\u2019ve had issues with might-have-becoming, and the reason I can even draw things and make 3D models at all (or post weird politics) is because, under might-have-becoming, I followed a path that I should not have followed.
