Like, towards the end of the previous (my junior) year I had run into this girl at parties a few times and really hit it off, I didn’t remember her name but I was gonna ask her out next I see her.

And last week my housemate-to-be, a foppish short-stories-with-cigarettes-and-coffee-and-rain kinda freshman, announced he went on some dates by like messaging every girl on Facebook that liked the Yeah Yeah Yeahs or something, and he shows me her picture and of course it’s the girl, who I had *told* him about, and I ask him not to but he declines

And it’s fine for a few months but then we fall for each other and all our mutual friends approve and say that makes more sense
