I sort of wonder what it’s been like for all the bona fide cucks out there: the ones who actually fantasize about their SO being banged by people hotter than they are, maybe actually facilitate this happening, etc.
Like, it’s 2014, and you’re going about your private life, with your private fetish being one of the many moderately-common fetishes out there, along with DD/lg, foot fetishism, etc. Your politics might be kinda lefty, or kinda righty, or whatever, and you never saw that as connected to anything else (except insofar as tradcons who are strictly into traditional monogamous marrriages aren’t very friendly toward your fetish).
Then over the next few years this bunch of weird alt right people start talking about cucks all the time and using cuck as an insult. It must be awkward.
I’d love to hear from any real cuckold fetishists out there. I’m not into that stuff, but I swear I don’t think it’s risible or insulting.
some of them are rebranding, some of them are doubling down, for what could be more humiliating – and hence hotter – than being cucked by the Discourse.
Is the “moderately common” claim accurate? My uninformed guess would have been “orders of magnitude less common than DD/lg or foot fetishism”.
Well first I just want to make sure everybody knows all of this comes back to /pol/; I don’t think this particular episode of Internet history should be forgotten. Back when /pol/ was first founded before it became what it is today, you could post porn on it, for about the first year of its existence. And I used to joke that /pol/ was the interracial porn board because lots of threads were like ‘let’s post cute black girls to confuse the Nazis’ or ‘why don’t you have an East Aryan gf yet’ or ‘would you really deport these hot Latinas.’ But the thing that got spammed more than anything was of course, big black cock cuckold porn, there was just an absolutely massive amount of it there posted by one specific really dedicated democraticunderground poster, who now that I think of it might have been a time traveler who came back in time to try to disrupt the rise of alt-right but his tactics backfired horribly.
And so the proto-alt-right on /pol/ was exposed to this at an early phase of ideological development - in fact, much of the alt-right’s online behavior was a reaction to this environment, I think. Eventually it became too much even for the mods and all porn was banned from /pol/ around the time of the Zimmerman trial which brought an enormous amount of traffic to the board, so it became pretty much all white nationalist memes all the time and it grew into what it is today.
The thing that happened in 2014 that really led to ‘cuck’ becoming a huge meme was 4chan founder Moot getting spotted on some girl’s Facebook going on a vacation with her and carrying her luggage etc. in a way that suggested that they were dating or at least that he was interested in her, and then later there were images that suggested she was sleeping with some other guy. This was during/immediately after the initial phase of Gamergate and so lots of people were pissed at Moot at the time and so ‘moot got cucked’ and ‘moot = cuck’ began to get posted everywhere, which apparently he did not appreciate.
This is around when Moot was leaving the site anyway, so I guess as a going-away present he put a header image on /pol/ of a crude Photoshop of himself getting spitroasted with strapons by Zoe Quinn and Anita Sarkeesian and added autoplaying audio of ‘Cuckolding Princess Karin’ describing the ‘8 steps of cuckolding’ which we were all treated to for a couple of months. And then he disabled captcha so bots could spam ASCII art and copypasta all over the board. This made the site rather difficult to use which led directly to an exodus of radicalized /pol/ users all throughout the Internet who had all just been forced to hear an autoplaying cuckold fetishism audio file. Hence, the sudden appearance of the word ‘cuck’ seemingly everywhere at once, as though thousands of people were hypnotically programmed with it and then sent to spread it to every corner of the Internet. That’s essentially what happened.
Later, this somehow led to the election of Donald Trump.
Anyway I got the impression that cuckold fetishism was actually very common (certainly more so than DD/lg which is pretty rare) but those people mostly did not travel in the same circles I did back in my degenerate days - I got the impression they were more involved in the swinger community which is a whole different world from the BDSM scene or the poly community.
And @argumate is right as far as I can tell, judging by the discussions I’ve seen on /gif/, which really is where /pol/ users and cuckold fetishists run into each other these days - some of them are deeply upset by it all but others are, well…you’re humiliating humiliation fetishists, it works for them. And I’m sure a lot of them think it’s hilarious, and others are just like ‘why do I keep getting pictures of Justin Trudeau when I search for fetish porn god dammit.’
Then over the next few years this bunch of weird alt right people start

“Cuckold” as an insult isn’t new, but anachronistic.
It’s gendered, in a specific way, to target men and insult their masculinity. It is explicitly heteronormative. You can argue that “cuck“ is sexist because saying it assumes the listener is a man, or because it assumes heterosexuality.
But if you think this insult “your children are not yours, your life is a lie, your line will die out with you“ is something that only hurts for the alt-right, then you have already lost.
The shortened form “cuck“ with its origins in online porn additionally implies that you know that your line will die out, but you want to and let it happen because of your fetishism.
