whenever people bring up Neil Cicierega I’m tempted to mention that I knew his wife in college so for a while in the 2000s I’d see his Facebook interactions in my feed and he was kind of a dick

and it’s not even stuff that fits into an “I once was problematic but now am woke, was blind but now I see” narrative, it was just crocodile humor blowing off/”dunking on” critics for not being newgrounds famous, if anything it’s of a kind with later woke positioning, assuring his audience that they chose the right bandwagon
